Rules and Regulations

1. Playing

A. Goal

  1. Each time you contact the ball with your club and hit it is called a stroke.
  2. The goal is to complete the hole and course with as little strokes as possible.
  3. You must use a club designed to regulations.
  4. One player plays at a time, only one ball on a hole at each time.
  5. All rules subject to change according to a specific holes instructions.

B. Terminology

  1. Club – The device you use to move the ball. See rule 2.A.
  2. Ball – The round object that you hit into the hole. See rule 2.B.
  3. Hole
    1. The individual green and tee and hole.
    2. The hole that the ball falls into.
  4. Par – Is the amount of strokes it takes on average to beat a hole and used to calculate your score, see Rule 1.C.4.
  5. Edge – The edge is the outside rim of the hole (1.B.3.1) that keeps the ball in play. When you go above or over the edge the ball is Out of Bounds (OB) 1.B.6.
  6. Out of Bounds (OB) – When the ball goes above the edge and off the hole.
  7. Course – Made up of multiple holes (1.B.3.1).
  8. Court – The playing arena and surface which your Course (1.B.7) is set up.

C. Rules

  1. You must hit the ball with the club unless specified by the hole.
  2. Each time you contact the ball with your club and hit it is called a stroke.
  3. Whoever has least amount of strokes at end of a game wins.
  4. Count the score by the amount of strokes over or under a Par 2 average or specified Par for each hole. A hole in one would be -1. A hole in 2
  5. Ball must stop moving before next stroke.
  6. When you go above or over the edge the ball is Out of Bounds.
  7. When the ball goes out of bounds restart at the beginning.
  8. Goal is to get ball in hole in least amount of hits.
  9. Each player plays hole to completion before next persons turn, unless specified that it is a hole for multiple balls.
  10. Each hole can have hole specific rules that modify game play and introduce requirements.

2. Gear

A. Club

  1. Club must be minimum 85mm long.
  2. Club must have a head 10mm wide or wider.
  3. Club must have grip 5mm thick or thicker and 15mm long or longer.

B. Ball

  1. Ball must be 10mm diameter.
  2. Ball must be made of a non magnetic material.

3) Course

A. Design

  1. A course is built of multiple holes. See terminology 1.B.3.1.
  2. The final hole size standard is 22mm wide with an insert 19mm. tapered edges are allowed.
  3. Edge 6mm high.
  4. 3 holes for tee.

B. Setup

  1. Use circle bubble level to make sure it’s “level”.
  2. Must have fabric laid.
  3. Courts are optional but advised for containing shots that go off the Course. They can be laid out in anyway.

A. Philosophy

  1. NO AI ALLOWED, no part of the promotional material or design shall be created using any form of generative AI.
  2. Be COOL. Stop the bs.
  3. Make it fun!
  4. Respect the game. Follow the spirit of the law.
